Meet Sandra Daw

A.Dip PI, JP, Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution

Sandra is a registered & accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner who assists, supports, and navigates all styles of families & couples going through separation and/or property & financial settlements quickly without all the overwhelming fear and emotions.

Sandra has practised for many years as a Qld Police Detective, & has vast knowledge, experience and understanding of Domestic and Family Violence offences and legislation along with exposure and understanding of the child & youth fundamentals and the Judicial system.  During her time as a Detective, Sandra navigated through many culturally sensitive, ethical, vulnerable, and high-risk situations with high conflict and emotionally charged persons.

Throughout this decade-long journey, it taught Sandra to write complex reports, fine-tune her observation skills, critical thinking skills, communication skills and investigate and break down complex problems and build resilience!

Sandra has now turned her focus to the Family Law Act and is dedicated to helping families keep the lines of communication open, build a healthy relationship co-parenting, and keep families out of the Family Law Court.

As parents, you will always be connected to your former partner through your children. Your children need to see their parents show each other respect, behave appropriately towards one another, and have empathy. These actions contribute to successful co-parenting even while living separate lives.

As a family unit breaks down, change is inevitable, and uncertainty will follow.  Allow Sandra to support you through the family mediation process professionally as each parent takes their step forward towards their future with confidence and independence.
